Our Mission

Protecting Human Attention

The Attention Safeguard Models represent a new approach to one of society's most overlooked challenges: the unregulated demand on human attention. We believe that attention is a finite, valuable human resource that deserves the same protections as physical health and environmental safety.

Our work bridges the gap between cognitive science, public policy, and technology design to create actionable frameworks that protect people from exploitative attention demands.

A System Design Problem

We reject the idea that attention overload is simply a matter of personal discipline. Instead, we recognize it as a systemic issue rooted in how digital platforms, workplaces, and institutions are designed.

By developing A.S.M. and C.A.S., we provide policymakers, organizations, and technology leaders with the tools they need to build systems that respect cognitive limits and promote attention equity.

Our Values

Equity

Ensuring that the cognitive burdens of modern systems are distributed fairly and do not disproportionately affect vulnerable populations.

Accountability

Holding system designers and institutions responsible for the attention demands they impose, with measurable standards and enforcement mechanisms.

Sustainability

Building systems and policies that support long-term cognitive health rather than short-term engagement metrics.

The Architect of A.S.M. & C.A.S.

Delante Clark

As a future PhD sociology student, I watched people lose faith in the digital world as attention fragmented and trust eroded. I moved beyond observation to act, building A.S.M. & C.A.S. to restore clarity and stability in how people experience digital systems.
